Chicken Biryani Recipe





Ingredients:

- 2 cups basmati rice

- half kilo chicken

- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste

- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds

- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds

- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1 teaspoon red chili powder

- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 2 tablespoons lemon juice

- 2 tablespoons oil

- 2 onions, chopped

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon cumin powder

- 1 teaspoon coriander powder

- 2 green chilies, chopped

- 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped

- 1 cup curd

- 1 teaspoon garam masala

- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

- 2 tablespoons oil



Instructions:

1. Wash and soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.

2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions until golden brown.

3. Add the ginger garlic paste, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt.

4. Add the chicken and fry until it's golden brown.

5. Add 2 cups of water, cover the pan, and let it cook until the chicken is done.

6. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in another pan and add the cumin seeds.

7. Add the chopped onions and fry until golden brown.

8. Add the minced garlic, cumin powder, coriander powder, green chilies, and coriander leaves.

9. Fry for 2 minutes.

10. Add the curd, garam masala, and salt.

11. Mix well and add 1 cup of water.

12. Let it cook for 5 minutes.

13. Drain the water from the soaked rice and add it to the pan.

14. Mix well and cover the pan with a damp cloth.

15. Cook for 10-15 minutes or until the rice is done [2]
